State Pensions: Lies tell me Lies
Public pension systems have been and always will be a scam. Blood money packs the bank accounts of public officials, lobbyists, pension fund money managers, and pension consultants. They live in homes built on blood money. They have second and third homes and take vacations bought with blood money. The punch bowls are empty, the streamers are falling, the sparklers won’t spark. Game, set, match. The batter has struck out with 2 outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning. After further review, the ball carrier lost possession of the ball prior to reaching the goal line with no time left on the clock. Let’s face it state pensions are walking zombies. Unaccrued unfunded actuarial liabilities, thanks to promises made and not kept, have killed state pension systems and will ruin lives. Billions of taxpayer dollars have been doled out like an endless Halloween night.
We so much want to blame government workers for making this all happen. They are such thieves! The real thieves are, have been and always will be the public officials, lobbyists, and associated vermin who promised to, and did not make, regular contributions to public pension systems over the past 30 years. Publicly elected officials, acting for their own benefit behaving like children, and lying through their teeth, have created a situation that now reeks of their own rotten teeth. The rotten teeth come from the incessant consumption of sugar goodies served up by lobbyists and pension consultants.
Public officials and legislators made thing worse by appointing cronies to inflated salaried positions which ensured full pensions. Public officials and legislators get a free ride. This is the true picture. They receive full pensions after just 4 years or one term and make sure their pension funds are adequately funded. These same public officials move on the high salaried private sector jobs once they finish rigging and raping the system. Then these same people become poster children for pension vigilantes. Not only that they join the vigilantes!
These same public officials now seek to cry: “Mea Culpa”! “It’s not my fault”! “Look at my finger pointing at someone else”! (Unless it is in my nose)! There has to be “shared sacrifice”. We hear governors making budget addresses and wagging fingers saying “Now is the time for action”! Now? Really? What happened to those promises? What happened to following the rule of law and following through for the past 30 years? Forget that stuff. It’s time for photo ops and appearances on syndicated television, youtube and of course those putrifying campaign ads.
This is Enron redux. The United Enron States of Fraud. We are there folks. Publicly elected officials have made a mockery of democracy. And this is only looking at the state level. Elected puclic officials at the federal level are even worse. But now is the time to shine the light on puclicly elected state officials, a.k.a. legislators and the rest of those in public office who have “served”. These are the people who make the laws at the state level and then break them. Just good old common criminals? No, they are modern day versions of an aritstocratic elite that lives exactly like the nobility of the medieval era. They trot around with their phylacteries and attendants to push away the common rabble. The rest of us, not just public emplyees are serfs. Believe it.
Name one publicly elected state official that has not pontificated from his or her perch above the masses and declared “I am here for you and will not turn my back on you”. As they step sown from that perch, lobbyists and special interest groups kiss the pontiffical ring. The pontiff nods and holds out a dirty wretched hand that drips with the blood of the sacrificial lambs who work harder in one day than any of these officials have, if ever, worked. These same public official behave like the aristocracy America claims to have defeated over 200 years ago. There are at least 50 of them called govenors and one called President of the United States. That’s just for starters.
This is the real story and we should not let those in the past and those in the present who look to the guillotine for answers.Off with the heads of the serfs who dare to speak out! The laws are coming to silence the common man. All pubic officials ever invovled with making and/or contributing to empty promises should serve time in jail. Bring back the prisons with no windows, one set of shabby clothes and no shoes. Serve them tasteless gruel and put them on chain gangs. Stockades in front of each state capitol building and in our nation’s capital would be a nice touch. The rabble can bring rotten fruit and garbage to throw. After all that’s what comes out of the mouths of these public disgrace officials.
Not done yet. Next come the filthy money managers and pesion consultants who have feasted like jackals and vultures on the carrion of taxpayer dollars and public employees. Talk about slimeballs. These guys make and serve up the investment and divesification BS that works great in rising markets and smells like rotting flesh in declining markets. These are real scum. Like public offials, they have second and third homes purchased with blood money. They have beah homes and farms purchased with taxpayer money. That’s our money folks! Oh, let them have it right? I mean they give such wonderful Harry Markowitz presentations full of so much crap that the piles of it could light up the entire United States for 100 years. How can you realistically increase high risk investments and yet lower risk profile. I know how the math works. What happens when all tose high risk investments become worthless? The math works there too and it isn’t pretty.
I propose the follwing: All of these aristocratic elite get no paycheck until public pension systems are solvent. Let the whining begin!
